The EU-Vietnam FOODSEG Workshop was an initiative of our project partners in Vietnam, Hanoi University for Science and Technology, and our project partners in Italy, ISS Rome. The main idea was to organize a workshop that offers scientific know-how and practice to young researchers but also offers the opportunity to discuss any cooperation opportunities between the EU and Vietnam. 

One opportunity was to cooperate within one of the calls in Horizon 2020, the new research and innovation funding program of the European Union.
